Online Publications

In addition to the upload of the digital version of your thesis to the Publication Server, the doctoral degree regulations/Promotionsordnungen of some faculties and the post-doctoral degree regulations/Habilitationsordnung of the Faculty of Science stipulate the submission of deposit copies at the University Library. Specific requirements of the faculties can be found in those regulations.

  • When preparing your manuscript, please refer to the requirements for manuscript submission.
  • The digital version of your thesis needs to be identical with the text version of the submitted print copies that have been approved by the examination board before.
  • For the process of digital archiving, the file needs to be submitted both in the PDF as well as in the original creation format (i.e. MS Word, Office Writer, LaTeX etc.).
  • After the registration of your thesis on the Publication Server, we will add an additional imprint page to the document and send it back to you for printing. Hence, before printing the deposit copies, please wait until you receive the document proof from us.
