Since April 2019, the University of Potsdam has had a DEAL agreement with the publishing house Wiley. This agreement provides access to approximately 1,700 journals retroactively to the year of publication 1997.
Since January 22, 2019, all submitting corresponding authors of the University of Potsdam and any associated institutions may publish in Open Access journals of the publishing house within the framework of the agreement. For the first time, the University of Potsdam will be invoiced centrally for the publication costs at the end of the year. If funding through the Publication Fund is possible, please submit an application immediately after acceptance of the submitted manuscript.
As of 01.07.2019 submitting corresponding authors of Potsdam University and any associated institutions may publish open access in subscription-based journals. The publication costs are covered by the total costs to be paid by the University Library to the publisher. When submitting your articles, please make sure that your affiliation is entered correctly. In case of doubt, the affiliation to the University of Potsdam is checked by the University Library using an appropriate workflow. The coordination for this is still in progress with MPDL GmbH which has taken over the administration of the overall agreement.
