Research Data Management in Brandenburg (FDM-BB)

Digitizing research processes and making data from publicly funded research accessible to humans and machines poses major challenges for science. Brandenburg would therefore like to support the state's scientific institutions, in particular the universities, with a research data strategy.

The Ministry of Science, Research and Culture (Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur/MWFK) funded project Research Data Management in Brandenburg: Technologies, Competencies, Framework Conditions (FDM-BB) is jointly managed by the University Library of the University of Potsdam and the Department of Information Sciences at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Potsdam). All public universities in the state as well as the Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (Medizinische Hochschule Brandenburg/MHB) and other research institutions are involved in the project.
